The Greenhouse structured program is designed to provide the filmmakers with the knowledge for developing their concept into a compelling documentary film, as well as understanding the importance of dialogue with themselves and with their peers as a means of exploring innovative non-fiction storytelling techniques.

In the past 5 years, Greenhouse has worked with prominent experts in different fields of the documentary filmmaking. Amongst the wide variety of lectures and workshops given by different specialist, the Greenhouse participants has had the opportunity to attend master classes by renowned filmmakers such as Victor Kossakovski, Pirjo Honkassalo, Nicolas Philibert and Hubert Sauper, who were sharing with the filmmakers their in depth unique filmmaking ideology and strategies,  the birth of an idea, their use of locations, photography technique, the process of shooting and attitude towards characters.
