In late 2005, Greenhouse was selected by the EU as one of 12 projects in the framework of the EuroMed Audiovisual II Program.

Greenhouse, supported by Euromed Audiovisual II, was a program dedicated to documentary filmmakers from the MEDA countries.

Greenhouse exceptionally received a one year extension due to its success and efficient management.  Greenhouse achieved outstanding success and has become a leading organization for documentary filmmaking internationally and is one of the most successful programs of the Euromed Audiovisual Program.

In four years of activity, 46 projects and 80 filmmakers participated in the Greenhouse program.  The filmmakers came from 9 different MEDA countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia and Turkey.

5 films were successfully completed and 50% of the Greenhouse projects are in production stages.
