 Broken Cameras by Emad Burnat (Palestine) & Guy Davidi (Israel) and  Justice for Sale by Ilse & Femke Van Velzen (The Netherlands) will  participate at the 24th International Documentary Film Festival  Amsterdam(IDFA).

917 filmmakers coming from the Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Palestine  Lebanon & Morocco participated in the Greenhouse second  seminar which took place in Aqaba, Jordan,September 8th – 13th. 
Greenhouse's second seminar dealt with two main aspects of the  projects' development: the continuation of the written proposals  (synopsis, director's statement and treatment) and further examining...

The filmmakers, their mentors & Special Expert: John Appel, Bruni  Burres, Nenad Puhovski , Steven Seidenberg & Hans Robert Eisenhaur  will continue to work on the development of the written proposals, emphasizing on the dramaturgy, characters, the film structure and cinematic language. Together they will also examine visual materials for their trailers in preparation for the final seminar & pitching forum scheduled to December 2011.

 CFI in collaboration with the FIPA Festival (Biarritz-France) organized last  January a documentary pitching training and competition. The  documentary  project 'In the dark' by  Goran Stankovic (Serbia) who  participated at the  Greenhouse 2010 program, won the 'CFI prize' of  5000€.

The IDFA Summer School  (Editing Consultancy) which will take place in July in Amsterdam. Of a total amount of 70 submissions, the selection committee has selected 16 projects.

Greenhouse's 2010 project In the dark by Goran Stankovic from Serbia has received the prestigious Jan Vrijman production grant. This important grant joins the CFI development award given a month ago, to Goran Stankovic at the 2011 FIPA

France Television has joined the Greenhouse 4th year project 5 Broken cameras by Emad Burnat & Guy Davidi: Prominent producer, Serge Gordey at Alegria Productions, is now co-producing the project.


Greenhouse's 3rd year project Pop Islam by Ismail ElMokadem from Egypt is completed and will be broadcast on Arte on April 4th 2011!
