The Intenational Prize for Mediterranean Documentary & Reportage

A new edition of the International Prize for Mediterranean Documentary and Reportage is launched! A 13th edition and a new collaboration between CMCA and RAI.
Submission deadline: 27th April 2008.

Started in 1994, the International Prize for Mediterranean Documentary & Reportage contributes to give a better visibility to works dealing with society, history, heritage, art… coming from the Mediterranean basin, and to make their diffusion easier on both shores.
Organised in partnership with RAI, it sets itself in two phases: the selection, in Marseilles, and the final stage in Italy. The cities where the Prize has already been welcome are Palermo, Soverato, Syracuse, Noto, Civitavecchia and Cagliari.
The International Jury is composed of professionals of cinema and television, filmmakers, producers, distributors, and of specialists of the Mediterranean area.
Today, the CMCA receives each year almost 300 works competing in the different categories (Mediterranean Challenges - Memories - Art, Heritage and Culture - First Creation – Magazines TV) representing more than 25 countries.
