Festival of European Films on Wheels Begins every November in Ankara and travels then travels in Turkey and the Balkkan. The Festival does not accept documentatries and accepts only films on 35mm. The Festival on Wheels has an international competition for feature films. The jury awards the following prizes: The Festival Grand Prize, "The Golden Goose" of the City of Kars (15.000 Euro) for the best film in competition, the Special Jury Prize "The Silver Goose" of the City of Kars (5000 Euro) for the second best film in the competition. The short films in the European Panorama section competed for the Audience Award (1000 Euro).

Association Of Documentary Film Makers (BSB) The Association has a broad range of membership, including freelance filmmakers, private production companies, documentary makers at Turkish Radio and Television, university professors, and film students throughout Turkey, with membership predominantly in the Istanbul, Ankara, Eskişehir and Izmir regions. The official and legal mission of the Association is to defend the copyrights of its members. However, since its inception, the Association has additionally worked towards accomplishing several broadly defined aims: • developing the field of documentary, both in terms of quantity and quality of production; • promoting awareness of and demand for documentaries; • advocating the improvement of circumstances of production;
Towards these ends, some of the primary activities of the Association include: - Sectoral Infrastructure. - Documentary Promotion. - Advocacy of Sector Development . - International Relations. - Sectoral Infrastructure. - Inventory and Archiving of finished documentaries
Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism Funds Supply funding to Turkish films since 1986 in all genres. Funding between 1986-2006 was more than 706 million Turkish Pounds (TL).
EFES Pilsen Annotation Many Turkish movies had come to live thanks to the support given by Efes Pilsen to Turkish Cinema since 1988. In 1997, Efes Pilsen began to grant the "Efes Pilsen Special Prize" in the name of Onat Kutlar withing the scope of the International Istanbul Film Festival. “Efes Pilsen Special Prize” aims at contributing to the production of young directors. The films sponsored by Efes Pilsen won 76 awards so far in both foreign and local festivals.
IKSV (The Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts) The İstanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1973 by fourteen businessmen who gathered under the leadership of Dr. Nejat F. Eczacıbaşı with the aim of organizing an international arts festival in İstanbul. The Foundation has been committed to bringing together different cultures and contributing to the creation of a platform for multicultural dialogue. In this respect, İKSV has prepared a series of international festivals in major European cities. This journey began in 2004 with ‘Şimdi Now’ in Berlin and continued in 2005 with ‘Şimdi Stuttgart’ and Amsterdam and Rotterdam with the ‘Turkey Now’ festival, in 2007.
