TFI awarded Greenhouse graduates Tal Barda & Noam Pinchas from Israel with a $10,000 development grant for their project 'The Wonderful Kingdom of Papa Alaev'. The filmmakers were invited to the Tribeca Film Festival held in April 2013, and took part in the TFI Filmmaker/Industry Meetings, a market initiative between TFI grantees and Decision Makers during the festival. The filmmakers were also entitled to a delegate pass allowing access to all the main events at the festival.

A story about a Tajik musical family, based in Israel, that is led by a charismatic, funny, and controlling grandfather, whose son blindly obeys him, and whose daughter left yet desperately wants to return.
At 80, Papa is losing his grip on the family and unwillingly starting to step down from his throne, while the family tries to survive this rigid and unsure transition from Monarchy to democracy.
