Greenhouse and Middle East Now Film Festival Continue their Partnership

We are proud to announce the third year of collaboration between Greenhouse and the Middle East Now Film Festival, which will take place in Florence, Italy April 8-13, 2015.

For the past three years, the Middle East Now Film Festival has hosted a showcase of Greenhouse films and the Greenhouse team attending has held workshops for local documentary filmmakers.

This year three Greenhouse films were selected to participate in the 2015 festival edition:

'10949 Women' by Nassima Guessoum from Algeria , 'This is My Land' by Tamara Erde from Israel, 'Ich Liebe Dich' by Emine Emel Balci & Gökçe Işıl Tuna from Turkey.

Emine Emel Blaci, will also screen her new feature film 'Until I Lose My Breath', which premiered at the 2015 Berlinale last February.

The attending filmmakers, along with Greenhouse's Program Director Sigal Yehuda, will hold Q&A sessions at the end of each screening, during which they will discuss the process of making their films as well as their experiences in Greenhouse and the impact the program has had on their filmmaking.

Middle East Now Film Festival, now in its 6th year, is a vibrant boutique festival, with great appeal to the general public and to the press, and has established itself as a platform to showcase what is new in Middle Eastern contemporary cinema and culture.
